Buyers: Beginning Feb. 1, 2010, you may use FHA-insured financing to purchase properties resold through private developers and investors. This one-year waiver will give all FHA buyers access to a broader array of recently foreclosed properties. This definitely opens up the possibilities for you!
Also, HUD has just announced (1/21/10): The up-front mortgage insurance premium will rise to 2.25 percent from its current 1.75 percent. This change takes effect on or after April 5, 2010.
